Welcome to The Franklin Bridge Junior Golf Academy! We believe we have an obligation to the surrounding community of Franklin, TN to introduce and nurture a love for the game of golf and all of the values that it teaches and represents. Regardless of the experience or interest level of your child, we have a program for you! We can’t wait to have you join us here at The Bridge! ~ Brooks West, PGA Professional & Owner
You Can Do Hard Things
The golf swing is one of the most complex athletic movements in sports. While every child will enter the game with different abilities and skill sets they will all face challenges as they learn this complex, yet exciting game! My goal is to walk your kids into these difficult places and show them how to have success by building a golf swing that is completely unique to them and incredibly effective. They will not only improve their performance, but they will also improve their person by building on their strengths and navigating their weaknesses. They will learn how to stand on their own, handle pressure, change habits, and have fun all along the way. Come and join us as we learn the game of golf (and life) together! ~ Scott Hassee, PGA Director of Player Development
Something for Everyone
You’ll notice there is no usage of the terms beginner, intermediate, or advanced. The reason for this is that we are all students of the game and the more we learn, the more we realize how little we know in the grandiosity of the game of golf. In addition, players could be advanced in one area of their game and a beginner in another. In fact, in my many years of teaching I often have found that some of the best lessons I have learned have come from the youngest players. In an endlessly complex game, sometimes the insights of a child can be incredibly profound! Everything is based on years of experience and overall performance. After all, we are measured in the game of golf by the scores we consistently produce! See the details below for what’s required and what you get at each level.
The Masters ($299/month + $250 Entry Fee) – Over $900 Value
Named after the most prestigious major championship in golf, this level is reserved for the best of the best in junior golf. This group will receive the most instruction, and individualized attention of any group. In order to enter this group players will have to submit a playing resume, letters of recommendation, complete an interview with Scott and both the parents and child will have to sign off on a number of agreed upon values, expectations, and commitments. Details of this program will be announced later this year. If you would like to have more information, please give me a call!
